Enough's not enough

We're sitting on the couch; drinking cabernet sauvignon that is left over from our wedding; enjoying the gas fireplace; digesting a yummy dinner; building up an appetite for brownies; and watching silly holiday movies. Anyone remember seeing Arnold Swarzeneger in Jingle all the Way? We're watching it now - the very meaning of cheesy movie. 

You'd think all the M&Ms and brownies and cookies... you know, we're still enjoying sleeping in and relaxing. We did an easy trail run on Sunday and then made one of our favorite breakfasts: egg and cheese bagel sandwiches. That was after the blueberry pancakes on Saturday. 

Now that we don't have exercise to worry and stress about we're spending all our spare time Christmas shopping. (I am interrupting this write up to say that Chad is loving this movie - it's kinda cute.) We had an endurance experience at the Columbia Mall - 4 hours of shopping was about all we could handle. And we walked back to the car in the midst of big fluffy snowflakes. Our first snowfall together this season!
