Whooo Wee!

Been a long time blogger land!  Things have been chaos at the Lewis house hold over the past month since our last post.  There was very little time to post anything since we were in the process of BUYING A HOUSE!  We took the leap and couldn't be happier in our new digs.

The process came around pretty quick and we closed at the end of January and are all moved in with the old place off our minds and out of our thoughts.  Just to tide you over here are some pics of the place...

Chad wins the household hard core athlete award for riding outside on New Year's Day. The temps were in the low 30s, feels like mid-20s. I took the day off. From exercise. Somehow I managed to eat and drink a record amount of chocolate. I did have a wrestling match with the rose bush outside and although I may have won the match, the war is clearly not over.

We had a quick but good visit with my folks and grampa. They are on their way to Florida for some sunshine! I hope the weather continues to provide them a pleasant escape from the dark and cold New England winter.

We played 5 rounds of "catch phrase". My parents won the first two games but Chad and I were able to pick up on our communication cues for the third game and ended up winning games 3 and 4. The tie breaker was a close one, but I guess our ability to go the distance athletically helped us keep our minds sharp - and victory was ours!! This must be a good sign for 2009.
